Alexander Adel is a Sr. Technical Advisor on the USAID Advancing Nutrition project and an organizational development professional with over 13 years of expertise in leading organizational development, change management, human performance improvement, executive coaching, and leadership development. He has worked in over 30 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe, providing hands-on capacity building support in the areas of global health, gender, economic development, governance, and natural resource management for clients including USAID, DFID, Gates Foundation, and SIDA. Most recently he was a Director of Organizational Development and Learning at Panagora Group providing new business and technical project support and a manager for KMPG’s Federal Advisory Services, developing training and change management programming for an enterprise-wide IT system roll out for US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). He also served previously as the Organizational Development Director for the Development Alternatives Inc.-led LAVI project in Liberia. His technical expertise extends across curriculum design, training, mentorship and executive coaching, organizational network analysis, leadership development, change management, public-private partnership development, and strategic planning and sustainability development. Alex holds a Master of International Development from the University of Denver, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
