Ms. Contreras-Donello is the Division Chief for the Private Sector Development Solution Group in E3's Trade and Regulatory Reform Office overseeing private sector development and eCommerce. She most recently served as the Acting Deputy Office Director and Supervisory Private Enterprise Officer for the Energy Office in Pakistan managing USAID/Pakistan’s private sector engagement for the energy sector. Before arriving in Pakistan, she was the Regional Engagement and Advisory Services Team Leader in the U.S. Global Development Lab (Lab), where she managed the Lab’s internal and external global engagement. Prior to that, she was the Regional Engagement Chief for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), managing the relationship between the Lab and the LAC USAID field Missions advising them on integrating science, technology, innovation and partnerships into their programing. She has been a Foreign Service Officer with USAID for 12 years and has served in Pakistan, Washington D.C., Tanzania, Afghanistan, and El Salvador.

Ms. Contreras-Donello received two undergraduate degrees, one in Marketing with an emphasis in business management and another in Spanish from Western Illinois University. Upon graduation, she worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance managing accounts for Fortune 500 companies. After two years of working in the private sector, she went back to school to get her Masters of Business Administration from Western Illinois University in conjunction with the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro and the Université de Moncton. She studied abroad in the United Kingdom, Spain, Canada and Mexico. Ms. Contreras-Donello is from Aurora, IL, enjoys trying new cuisines, reading, and traveling, but most of all enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
