Andrea Leiker is the Lead for Talent Acquisition in support of Macfadden, a PAE Company and the Global Mission Services business unit of PAE.  Ms. Leiker’s talent acquisition skills support a large U.S.-based company that has in excess of 20,000 Employees, serving in more than 70 countries and on all seven continents. She brings more than 11 years of experience to the recruitment of top quality talent for domestic and international hires in support of critical government contracts for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Defense and the United Nations (UN).

Ms. Leiker builds and drives the global talent acquisition agenda as a project team leader to proactively source, recruit, interview, hire and retain candidates for a wide range of positions and niche skill sets in service of international humanitarian and capacity building projects.

Ms. Leiker’s results-driven government contracts experience covers the gamut of U.S. and international organizations around the world.  Working with executive and program leaders, she coaches stakeholders to properly craft requirements to ensure an innovative and agile workforce structure to meet the operational needs for complex institutional and government support projects. An expert in corporate collaboration, Ms. Leiker works with business development and capture team organizations to align staffing expectations with the narrative in the technical proposals which she helps to craft. As an organizational thought leader in people operations, Ms. Leiker’s reputation for providing the right talent, at the right time, for the right mission supports essential projects spanning the globe.

 

Key Achievements:

  • Certified ISO 9001:2015 Best Practice for Recruiting Process
  • Conducts new business staffing efforts for approximately $900M in new business bids of varying evaluation criteria and contract types.
  • Successfully executed instantiation efforts for $240M Afghanistan based contract and ensuring deliverables were met for “Day One” of Full Operational Capability (FOC). 120+ positions, various labor criteria, working against salary constraints and timeline challenges to have the program fully staffed three weeks prior to deadline.
  • Knows stand up operations: conducted full workforce skill evaluations bi-lingually for a Colombia based project to identify talent trends and ensure compliance standards to meet required staffing levels weeks prior to day-one operations.
  • She is fluent in her native English, speaks fluent Spanish and has a working knowledge of French.

Fun Facts:

Ms. Leiker is a proud owner of a 1967 Raleigh Sprite, has never watched the film Pretty Woman, first met her husband at her older brother’s 12th birthday party and makes an alarmingly good cup of coffee, which she would gladly exchange for her one, true weakness: Crème Brule.
