Dr. Eric Green is an Associate Professor of the Practice of Global Health at the Duke Global Health Institute at Duke University where he teaches courses on research methods and data science. Green studies digital health interventions and advises colleagues on research design, methods, and analysis. He has experience conducting formative user design studies, mixed methods research, diagnostic validity studies, prediction modeling and text mining, and randomized controlled trials. Green graduated from the University of South Carolina with a PhD in Clinical Psychology (’08) and Master’s degrees in International Studies (’06) and Psychology (’04). After completing post-doctoral training at the Bellevue/NYU Program for Survivors of Torture, he worked as an Associate at the Population Council before joining the faculty at Duke. Eric also co-founded a digital health company called Nivi.
