Findings from Assessments of USAID Mission-Based Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Platforms

SID-Washington and InterAction are excited to announce the following Institutional Member (IM) Event:

Join us for a unique joint event with InterAction to learn about USAID’s Mission-Based Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Platforms and how they are working. Last year, the USAID Bureau of Policy, Planning and Learning (PPL)’s Office of Learning, Evaluation and Research (LER) commissioned an assessment of mission-based Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Platforms to inform whether or how to improve the management of these Platforms.

An MEL Platform is used to describe a variety of mission mechanisms to support monitoring, evaluation, data management, learning, and other performance management tasks for USAID missions. During this session, USAID staff members will brief the audience on the main findings from this assessment, which examined 55 missions around the world. The session will begin with a 15-20-minute presentation of the assessment, and will then open to questions from the audience.

This event is open to SID-Washington Institutional Members and InterAction members only, and will be limited to 1-2 representatives from each member organization due to space constraints. If your organization is a member, and you'd like to register, please email events@sidw.org. If your organization is not a member of SID-Washington, and you would like to join, please click here.
