Examinations of Linguistic Barriers to Impactful Development Approaches and Interventions

How can development practitioners improve our capabilities to expand reach and impact through greater appreciation and nuance around linguistic inclusion within our field? What nuances would be added to issues of decolonizing aid, gender equality, disability inclusion, indigenous community engagement and human rights as it pertains to language inclusion? Join us for a robust discussion on the power of language and explorations of ways to enhance inclusive development efforts.

Registration will close at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, December 15th. Meeting details will be sent to all registered participants shortly thereafter.

This virtual event will take place from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM ET on Thursday, December 16th. After 8:30 AM ET on Thursday, December 16th, SID-W staff will be managing the event and may be unable to respond to last minute registration requests.
