The Role of an Advanced Degree in Building a Career in International Development

For many young professionals in international development, pursuing an advanced degree can often feel like a prerequisite to achieving a fulfilling career. However, in recent times, shifting employee attitudes towards work, changes to education requirements in job descriptions, and increasing conversations around 'return on investment' have caused young professionals in the development field, and across many sectors, to think more intentionally about this decision. SID-US and the Young Professionals in Development Network (YPN) invite you to join a conversation around the role of an advanced degree in building a career in international development. We will provide diverse perspectives and you'll have the opportunity to hear from international development professionals and human resources experts about the graduate school decision. This is a great opportunity for young professionals considering graduate school to support growth and learning on their career journey.

Registration will close at 4 PM ET on Monday, October 3, 2022. Meeting details will be sent to all registered participants shortly thereafter.
