A focus on responsible business or ESG is rapidly expanding across the private sector. No longer is such investment limited to corporate foundations or corporate social responsibility departments. Corporates are responding to expectations of investors, customers, employees and regulators. Ignoring these expectations will have an impact on their bottom-line. Though all investments are not directly relevant to the international development ecosystem, many are. With development sector actors focusing much attention on private sector engagement as a means to achieve sustainable and scalable results, better understanding private sector activity is critical. We will host a panel discussion with representatives across corporate sectors to explore how they are investing in ESG adjacent to the international development sector and where they see a need for international development sector competencies.
Registration will close at 4 PM ET on March 21, 2023. Meeting details will be sent to all registered participants shortly thereafter.
