Driving Innovative Private Sector Engagement with USAID

Register for this event here

USAID recognizes the power of the private sector in driving economic growth, creating jobs, and advancing development progress worldwide. It is imperative that we harness the ideas, perspectives, and contributions of the private sector, but how can implementing partners and USAID together drive innovation and engagement with the private sector? Where can we make it easier and more effective for businesses and industry groups to collaborate with us?

Join fellow private sector engagement practitioners, implementing partner thought leaders and USAID personnel on Thursday, October 17 from 9:30 - 11 AM Eastern for an enriching discussion to exchange success stories, tactics for overcoming challenges, and advance dialogue with USAID on the critical role of implementing partners in private sector engagement.

Join Michael Metzler, Executive Director of USAID’s Private Sector Engagement Hub, for a fireside chat to discuss Private Sector Engagement (PSE) Modernize, first announced in November 2022, and what it means in practical terms for implementing partners. Participants will then continue the peer dialogue in breakout sessions led by fellow implementing partners on topics key to successfully building and optimizing strategic collaboration with the private sector.

During registration you will be asked to anonymously rank order your preference for breakout session pitches to support  in designing sessions most useful to you. Registration will close at 4 PM ET on October 16, 2023. Meeting details will be sent to all registered participants shortly thereafter.
