Global Education, Employment and Engagement Business Unit at FHI 360
Fernanda Soares is a Technical Advisor within the Research and Evaluation Department in the Global Education, Employment and Engagement Business Unit at FHI 360. In this role, she leads research, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of education and youth programs in low-resource, crisis, and conflict settings. Soares has been the Principal Investigator (PI) on studies of teacher in-service and pre-service professional development, teacher wellbeing, social and emotional learning (SEL) and youth development. Through her research and evaluation work, she has employed a variety of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods approaches to conduct formative studies, impact assessments, implementation science research and development of measurement tools.
