Indira is a senior executive and trusted advisor with 25 years of experience in federal government contracting particularly in international development and on promoting diversity, inclusion and equity. In 2002, Indira established Development & Training Services, Inc. (dTS) to inculcate equality, accountability, and sustainability in international development. With work in 90 countries on over 300 gender and social inclusion well as monitoring and evaluation programs, dTS was named the Small Business of the Year by the US Agency for International Development (USAID). In 2015, Indira facilitated the acquisition of dTS by Palladium, a global strategy and development company. She founded KAUR Strategies LLC in January 2017 to provide advisory, executive coaching, and diversity consulting services. Working with a range of clients with revenues ranging from $1.3B to $3M, KAUR Strategies emphasizes strategic planning, leadership, management, growth, and morale to augment achievement, results, and impact.

Indira served as the Chairperson of the Small Business Association for International Companies (SBAIC), is a founding member of the Council of International Development Companies (CIDC), was a Board Member at Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund (SALDEF), and currently serves on the Let’s Make it Possible Board.

Indira was awarded the Professional Services Council Outstanding Achievement Award for leadership. She was named the Sikh Business Woman of the Year the Sikh Directory, and also was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award by George Mason University.

Indira earned her Masters of Arts in International Relations from University of Chicago, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology with Distinction from George Mason University.  She also received a Certificate in Multiculturalism from the Multicultural Institute in conjunction with George Washington University.
