Lindsey Moore is CEO and Founder of DevelopMetrics, a data science company that breaks down technology barriers to improve the impact of development projects. She is an expert at applying artificial intelligence approaches to designing, managing, and evaluating development projects in the areas of economic growth, agriculture, environment, public financial management, and education. Ms. Moore served as Foreign Service Economist at USAID for eleven years—first as the Country Economist in Bangladesh, then as the Regional Caribbean Economist based in the Dominican Republic, and finally as the Senior Economist of the Asia Bureau. Mrs. Moore not only has a wealth of experience managing large budgets and teams, but she also maintains a firm footing within academia. Mrs. Moore leads a research team on data science applications to development policy as a Research Fellow at United Nations University in Maastricht, Netherlands. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Trinity College, a Master’s Degree from the London School of Economics, and is a PhD candidate at United Nations University, Maastricht.
