Malavika Randive

Malavika joined SID-United States as a Program Coordinator in September 2021. In her role, she manages programming efforts including workgroup meetings and events, and coordinating with work-group Co-Chairs.

Her former experience with SID-US was as a Program Associate. Malavika has also worked in refugee resettlement and advocacy with local organizations in upstate NY, as well as with university-level offices in promoting public health initiatives to college students. She has an interest in visual communications and journalism, which she fostered as founder and editor-in-chief for a student run magazine at her alma mater.

Malavika recently earned a Master of Science in Public Relations from Syracuse University, with a focus on understanding cultural community factors in information access and gathering. Malavika has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, also from Syracuse University, with a minor in Psychology. In her free time, Malavika serves as PR consultant and graphic designer for small businesses based in the food industry and can be found baking in her kitchen on the weekends. She is originally from Mumbai, India.
