Nakul R. Padalkar is a disruptive technology researcher; his research explores the design and application of disruptive technologies like blockchain, computer vision, and artificial intelligence systems and the role it plays in organizational and management science. Drawing on his expertise in technology development, he teaches a popular Graduate elective course, Blockchain for Data Science. His work spans a wide area, including projects looking at the application of blockchain in social adoption for peer-to-peer trade, industrial and policy considerations of blockchain for social use, and smart city policies for blockchain and autonomous vehicles. Work on these subjects has appeared in Informs annual conference, Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS).
