In recent years, Namwaka has managed policy, research, advocacy, and institutional strengthening efforts for USAID-funded natural resource management and wildlife conservation projects in Tanzania. She also formerly led NRM efforts at the Institute of African Leadership for Sustainable Development via the President’s Office of Tanzania
