Nandita Kotwal is Water and Sanitation Specialist (consultant) for the urban sanitation global team at the Water Global Practice at the World Bank. She supports urban sanitation interventions and analytical work in over 30+ countries under the Citywide Inclusive Sanitation agenda, with a special focus on projects in Ethiopia and Yemen. Prior to the World Bank, Nandita worked with NGOs and multilaterals, including the World Resources Institute in Washington D.C., UN Women in Bangkok and with the urban research NGO PUKAR in low-income neighborhoods in Mumbai. She holds an MA in Internal Economics and Development from the Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies and a BA in Economics from the University of Mumbai.
