Natasha Iannuzzi, originally from Cumberland, Rhode Island, is a recent Fall 2022 graduate from Virginia Tech’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Natasha earned her B.S. in Animal and Poultry Sciences on the production-business track with an emphasis in livestock and a minor in Agribusiness. Her goals include improving animal production / food systems and to one day work in international sustainable agriculture development. As a student, Natasha held the role as a research assistant under a Virginia Tech professor, working alongside World Food Programme (WFP) Cambodia to create a marketing strategy towards the implementation of fortified rice into the country, and had the chance to travel to Cambodia for research purposes. This experience sparked her passion for international agriculture and led her down her current career path. Natasha also has experience as a Government Relations Intern with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), where she had the opportunity to research and advocate for improved agricultural animal welfare laws and regulations in the United States. Natasha is hoping to continue her career in the international development field and is currently applying to full time post-grad employment and graduate school programs. In her free time, Natasha enjoys being outdoors, running, painting, and reading.
