USAID Chief of Staff, Dennis Vega, would like to brief SID-US on proposed USAID plans to re-organize several elements of the USAID structure. This briefing is the first step in a comprehensive consultation process with internal and external stakeholders. This initial consultation will provide a holistic overview of the proposed realignment. The proposed plan includes components that pertain to the following bureaus: Democracy, Development & Innovation; Resilience and Food Security; Policy, Planning & Learning; Budget and Resource Management.  In addition, the proposed plan would create two new offices - an Office of the Chief Economist and an Office of Policy. This preview will allow USAID to consider your feedback as we move forward.
