As former Director of Programs, Paul (he/him/his) managed the organization's programming efforts, including chapter, institutional member, special, workgroup, and workshop events. He also co-directed social media and communications efforts. Paul is currently a consultant with SID-US. While working at SID-US, his goal is to further his expertise in foreign affairs and international development.

Paul graduated in May 2015 from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in public policy from the Gerald R. Ford School and a minor in French. In Ann Arbor, he focused on European Affairs and international relations. He served as Co-Managing Photo Editor at The Michigan Daily and Contributing Writer and Online Journal Editor at the Michigan Journal of International Affairs. Paul also gained experience in diplomacy and American foreign policy through his internships with the Office of U.S. Senator Murray, the US Embassy in Paris, France, and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars. At the Wilson Center, he worked on several research projects, including electoral violence in Africa and peacemaking in the Balkans.

Outside of SID-US, Paul is a Master's Candidate in German and European Studies at Georgetown University. He also serves as Director of Global Operations for Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP).
