Prior to joining Polygon Labs, Rebecca served as General Counsel of the Aave Companies where she engaged in significant advocacy work, by championing positive policies for decentralized web3 technology, developing novel theories of regulation for web3 technologies, and meeting with regulators and policymakers across the globe to influence legislation. Previously, Rebecca was a partner at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP in the financial services group, representing various blockchain and cryptocurrency clients.
