Sarang Chaudhary is a social protection economist in the World Bank’s Social Protection and Jobs Global Practice. His work at the World Bank focuses on operationalizing economic inclusion programs through operational assistance, policy analysis, and research and innovation. Prior to that, he led a nonprofit in India working on social protection programs and delivery systems alongside state and city governments. Sarang received a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University in India and a master’s degree in public policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
