Most recently served as the Deputy Assistant Administer for Public Affairs at USAID where I led the divisions of strategic communications, media, public engagement, content and branding. This included leading 32 direct reports and overseeing 85 bureaus and 150 office communicators in more than 80 countries.

Prior to joining USAID, Stephanie was Senior Vice President and Creative Director at Weber Shandwick, a global communications agency. There she designed creative communications strategies to position issues and organizations, impact policy debates and ignite social change. She also created innovative and participatory public education campaigns, which included TV, radio, print, and digital executions. Stephanie's former clients include the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the Ad Council, the UN Foundation, the National Women’s Law Center, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and a range of Fortune 500 companies. Additionally, she served as Deputy Press Secretary to United States Senator Tom Daschle, and has been part of several Congressional and Presidential campaigns. She has a MA in public communications.
