Amy Johnson is Associate Director for Learning & Leadership Development and Gender Equity & Inclusive Practices with EnCompass LLC.  Prior to her current role, she was a Senior Learning Advisor with EnCompass serving in leadership roles on staff learning and organizational effectiveness projects for USAID’s Bureau for Conflict Prevention and Stabilization and Bureau for Global Health. Amy has also served as an instructional designer, learning evaluation lead, and technical writer for courses, learning strategies, and proposals focused on leadership and management, learning, gender equity, and inclusive development. 
 
Previously Amy served as Chief of Programming & Training for the Inter-America and Pacific Region at Peace Corps. She also worked as an independent consultant, led fundraising and programming efforts for the International Women’s Media Foundation, designed professional development training for USAID-funded programs, and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Belize supporting the local YWCA. 
 
Amy earned a Masters degree in Intercultural Communication from the University of Pennsylvania, a Graduate Certificate in Global Nutrition Programming from Tufts University, and a Bachelors in Political Science from the University of Delaware. She also holds Bronze certification in the use of Kirkpatrick Four Levels Evaluation.
