Workgroups

One of the ways in which SID-Washington achieves its mission as a “Town Square” for the development community is through topical workgroups. Each workgroup convenes on a regular basis under the leadership of experienced development practitioners, for discussions about development challenges and to share best practices and innovations with a professional community. In addition to the substantive discussions and material you will gain from these workgroup sessions, you will also have ample opportunity to engage with practitioners around your area of expertise.

Please note that as of January 2017, SID-Washington is changing the structure of its workgroups - combining some, rebranding others and reducing from a total of 22 to 14. The new workgroups are listed below. As a result of the reorganization, we have several open co-chair positions. Please see our Call for Co-Chair Applications page.
