Diana Ohlbaum is Senior Strategist and Legislative Director for Foreign Policy at the Friends Committee on National Legislation, and is a member of the executive committees of the Center for International Policy and the Modernizing Foreign Assistance Network. Previously, she served for nearly two decades as a Senior Professional Staff Member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. She also has experience in the executive branch, having served as Deputy Director of USAID's Office of Transition Initiatives, and in the private and nonprofit sectors. She holds a Ph.D. in political science from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in Russian Studies from Amherst College.
