Young Professionals in Development Network (YPN) Leadership Positions
SID-Washington is seeking applicants for the following leadership positions. These positions are a great opportunity for young professionals to gain leadership experience and get more involved with SID-Washington! The selected candidates will have access to SID-W’s vast network of development professionals.
- SID-Washington YPN Events Manager
- The YPN Events Manager will provide logistical support for event planning and execution, such as contacting venues and creating new YPN programs. The selected candidate must be a SID-Washington member. This position will be on a volunteer basis for a six-month term. The candidate will be expected to work between 10 and 20 hours per month.
- SID-Washington YPN Communications Manager
- The YPN Communications Manager will work on outreach, marketing, and social media initiatives for upcoming YPN programming. This will include helping to create content for SID-Washington’s weekly newsletter with a reach of over 10,000 and social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The selected candidate must be a SID-Washington member. This position will be on a volunteer basis for a six-month term. The candidate will be expected to work between 10 and 20 hours per month.
Managers will work closely with YPN Co-Chairs Aaron Pied (Director of Operations and Marketing, Realizing Global Health) and Ellie Price (Locus Coalition Coordinator, Pact), and SID-Washington staff to coordinate the network's activities.
