Kariuki Mugo is the Director of WASH Sector Support for Water and Sanitation for the Urban Poor (WSUP), a global organization that helps transform cities to benefit the millions who lack access to water and sanitation. He has over 20 years of experience in managing pro-poor urban and rural water, sanitation, and hygiene programmes in Kenya and an active influencer in the global WASH community of practice. His expertise is in building strategic partnerships between public, private and civil society sectors to support enabling environment, institutional capability, and market functionality to increase access to sustainable WASH services for the low-income populations.
