RK Srinivasan, joined USAID as a project management specialist in 2016. He manages the USAID/India Mission’s Water and Sanitation, private sector partnership, innovation and finance portfolio, which is focused on supporting inclusive development and regional connectivity.  RK Srinivasan previously served as a water and sanitation specialist in national and international non-governmental organizations. His responsibilities include the management of projects and initiatives supporting access to safely managed drinking water and sanitation services to marginalized communities. Before joining USAID, he was a technical advisor in Plan International and managed the water program in Center for Science and Environment in New Delhi based research and advocacy organization. He is the co-editor of “Excreta Tales Excreta Matters" - A profile of the water and sewage situation in 71 Indian cities” and has published training manuals on urban water harvesting and wastewater management. He holds a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Madras.
