Sasha Gallant leads the Development Innovation Ventures (DIV) team. Sasha's career has centered on the intersection of evidence-informed policy and innovation in international development, working across the public and social sectors, as well as the research, implementation, and funding domains. Sasha's career at USAID began in 2015. In prior lives, she was an independent consultant establishing national evidence-tiered funds and supporting the work of data-driven funders in global development, she worked at Evidence Action's incubator, focusing on prototyping, testing, and scaling promising innovations, and she held roles at Georgetown University, where she managed field implementation of randomized controlled trials in digital finance, education, and labor markets. Sasha is a former public school educator and administrator. She holds a bachelor's degree from Goucher College and a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University.
